Siyahi
Privacy
Siyahi is a private journal for daily money, made by Enithya. It is not a bank, not a cloud service, and not an account.
What is stored
Entries, people, caps, recurring templates, your name, currency, opening balances, and an optional pin live only on this device. A pin is stored as a hash, not as the digits themselves. A recovery word, if you set one, is stored the same way.
What is not collected
There is no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics, and no Siyahi server. The app does not send your journal to Enithya or to anyone else.
Backup and restore
If you export a copy, that JSON file is created on your device and shared only through the share sheet you choose. Restore reads a file you pick. We never receive that file.
Wipe
Clearing the journal in Settings, or typing SIYAHI or ERASE on the lock screen when both pin and recovery word are gone, deletes this device copy. A file you exported earlier can still be restored after that.
Fonts and the operating system
Typefaces ship inside the app. Siyahi does not download fonts or other content in the background. The operating system may still apply its own disk encryption and iCloud device backups according to your system settings; that is outside the app.
Children
Siyahi is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
